The SCF network is an integrated part of the vast portfolio of solutions offered by the Digicel

implementation of end-to-end solutions for its Customers.
For the benefit of the Customers, market competitive prices have been set, flexible capacity
terms have been established
and innovative market offers have been created to permit various international carriers, ISPs,
cable TV operators, and
enterprises equal access to quality, affordable broadband capacity.
Southern Caribbean Fiber offers point-to-point connectivity based either on IRU-type contract (10
or 15 years) or on
lease for a period of 1 to 5 years. Southern Caribbean Fiber wishes to promote the integration
of broadband technologies
such as FTTH or 4G/5G into the lives of Caribbean consumers. Entry of these technologies is
possible by offering
operators the option of owning the capacity rather than renting it.
Southern Caribbean Fiber offers circuits in standard SDH technologies with a wide variety of
interfaces such as STM1,
STM4, STM16 and STM64.
Attractive lease offers are developed for 3 and 5 years lease terms.
ECS is a transparent point-to-point link based on the transmission network (SDH, WDM, OTN). It
completes the IPLC
product range by benefiting from the advanced capabilities of the Ethernet environment. LCAS
functionality provides:
greater flexibility in Ethernet bandwidth services, more efficient use of interfaces, and
high-quality transparent
transport. Thus, thanks to ECS, operators benefit from better granularity and a personalized
service complying to their
needs.
IEEE Fast Ethernet RJ45 electrical and Gigabit Ethernet optical standards as well as 10 Gigabit
Ethernet interfaces are
offered.
Southern Caribbean Fiber offers Internet access solutions to Miami and New York. These services
are provided through
major operators present in the United States. We are able to route IP services to all points of
presence. IP Transit
service provides ISPs, CATV operators and businesses with a bottleneck-free service.
Carrier grade collocation is proposed for customers who are willing to install their own
equipment in a secured and
managed environment with, in particular, AC/DC power supply equipment and air conditioning are
redundant. Our service
Colocation helps resolving key deployment challenges by providing the flexibility to the
Customer for installing its own
equipment and managing its network according to its own processes. In addition, the Customer has
the possibility to
interconnect with the main providers using the SCF network infrastructure.
